* Inflammatory injury of the synovial membrane that lines the entire joint cavity.
* Formation of an exudate, inflammatory fluid, sometimes purulent nature, which is stored inside the joint cavity, producing a swelling of the joint when formed in a certain amount.

Symptoms of acute arthritis
Despite the extreme diversity of the causes that produce acute arthritis, the symptoms are fairly uniform in all cases.

Symptoms of acute arthritis in its mildest form

Only a painful feeling of one or more joints (astralgia), which can become so intense that it can prevent the mobility of the affected joint

Symptoms of acute arthritis in its most severe

Not only is there pain, but swelling of the joint (inflammatory fluid collection).
In this case the joint is covered with a red and warm skin.

Symptoms of chronic degenerative arthritis (osteoarthritis) primary
In this case the symptoms are usually present after 50 years

* Initiation silent and slow course toward deformation and ankylosis (usually not complete) of the joints, with lancinating pains.
* The joints most affected are often the hip joints of the lumbar spine and knees.
