Rapidly progressive disease (rapidly growing) for which too many myeloblasts (immature white blood cells that are not lymphoblasts) in the bone marrow and blood. Also called acute myelogenous leukemia, acute myelogenous leukemia, acute nonlymphocytic leukemia, AML, and ANLL.
