"It's a very powerful drug tisural" (Clarke), especially for its abundance in iodine.
GENERAL SYMPTOMS OR pathogenesis FUCUS VESICULOSUS
1 - () One of its main indications are in obesity. Usually used in dyeing or very low power. Chavanon as indicated at a dose of tincture of 10 drops daily.
SPECIFIC FUCUS VESICULOSUS
2 Headache intolerable, as if the forehead was pressed by an iron ring.
3 - () In exophthalmic goitre and goitre has generally been considered by some authors as a-Specific. Knapp indicated 30 drops of the tincture 3 times a day, for several months. Foster reported having 'no failures in young patients, citing 24 cases with the same invariable result and without unpleasant consequences. The tratarniento vary in duration from 3 to 18 months depending on the size and age of goitre, but always saw the gradual disappearance of it until its total disappearance. He gave the dye in two or three daily doses, each half to one teaspoon of tea, dissolved in 4 tablespoons of water, preferably between meals.
4 - () The stomach works very fast and very eagerly awaiting the lunch. The digestion is difficult, with sensation of fullness and weight in the epigastrium, with waves of heat to the face and head. Flatulence is disappearing. Obstinate constipation.
