Ground ivy (Glechoma hederacea)

Ground Ivy Properties

- Increases gastric secretion, is emollient and expectorant.
- Used in the treatment of lung, bronchial catarrh, emphysema, pharyngitis, flu, colds, asthma, bronchitis.
- Also used in the urinary and genital infections, leukorrhea, vaginitis, urinary stones.
- Other uses: digestive atony.
- Also popularly used as a sedative and anti-diarrheal.
